BRYCE'S BIRTHDAY!!!

So the love of my life is one year older... 24!!! He's now the same age as my brother... For his birthday we went floating down the Salt River! We got there around 8:30 in the morning so the parking lot was almost completely empty! It was cool because we got to park right up front. By the time we got out on the river it was about 9:20 and we did the 4 hour float which ended up taking about 3 hours.

Half way down the river Amanda got stung by a wasp, fell off her tube, and was flailing in the water, but the wasp still wouldn't let go... it just kept hanging on :) POOR AMANDA!!! Well instead of getting back on the tube she decided to go for a swim, and Kelci decided to go and swim for a floating water bottle making herself a river hero!!! Well that left me as the only girl still in the tubes. After about 5 minutes I decided to ditch the boys and join my friends...

After swimming for another 5 minutes, and watching the boys hit tree after tree, the boys started to catch up to us and we could hear rushing water up ahead. So we swam back to the tubes and hopped on... well at least Amanda and I did. Kelci however couldn't catch up... she started swimming back a little to late. So Kelci was riding out the light "rapids" trying to keep from swallowing too much river water. and Amanda untied her tube to try and save Kelci, but it didn't work... Everyone got through it with out getting too messed up and we continued to float. :)

Poor Bryce... the entire time he was floating down the river on this tiny patriotic tube... it was clearly made for the pool and not the river, but it only needed to be blown up once while on the river.
At least the cooler got a bigger tube and stayed a-float even if Bryce didn't :P

Well after we left the river Bryce and I returned to his house and had lunch. Then Bryce had to go to work for a bit... and while he was gone I got to work making his Birthday dinner. Bryce requested chicken enchiladas and a dinner with his family, so that's what he got!

TACOS
CHICKEN ENCHILADAS
CHEESE ENCHILADAS
TOSTADAS
SPANISH RICE
BEANS
HOMEMADE SALSA
CHIPS
HOMEMADE GUACAMOLE

AND THE BEST PART!!!
THE FORD TRUCK CAKE!!!

Of course I couldn't have done it without help from Bryce's family they were amazing bringing the drinks, rice, beans, homemade salsa and guacamole!!! Thanks you guys!!!
